Lauri D. Goldenhersh works actively as a
soloist, chorister, recitalist and private teacher in the Los Angeles area,
singing with highly-acclaimed choral groups such as the Los Angeles Master
Chorale, the Los Angeles Chamber Singers, AMDG, and the Choir of St. James’ in
Los Angeles. Goldenhersh has recorded with the Los Angeles Master Chorale, the
Ocean Park Chamber Singers, the Industrial Jazz Group, and the Los Angeles Chamber
Singers.
A California native, Lauri received her
master’s degree in Vocal Performance from Washington University in St. Louis,
Missouri. Her work as co-owner of
Golden Hands Entertainment, producer for the Ocean Park Chamber Singers and
board member for Guitarra del Mar, a Pasadena-based guitar concert series, have
proven her a creative and valuable presenter and administrator. In 2002 she created “Lauri’s
List”, a private web service which brings singing jobs to hundreds of Southern
California singers. This role as a
leader and mentor within the professional vocalist community has expanded
rapidly, and her new blog, Singerpreneur, will launch on March 1, offering
help, advice (and a little ranting) for singers and artists who need a little
tweak to their business skills.
Lauri’s specialty is 20th century and new classical music, and she is the creator and co-founder of Modern Songtales, committed to bringing modern music to life by creating unique concert experiences for lay audiences.
